VCE Japanese Specialist Tutor

I am a native Japanese tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Translation Studies from Monash University.
I specialise in supporting Year 11 and Year 12 students studying VCE and ATAR Japanese. Through personalised one-to-one lessons, I help students strengthen their speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills, prepare effectively for SACs, and achieve stronger exam results.
I intentionally work with a limited number of students so that I can provide personalised support and ongoing feedback throughout the year. By understanding each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, I tailor lessons to their individual needs and focus on the areas where they need the most support.
I regularly participate in professional development activities and maintain connections with teachers of Japanese in Australian high schools, helping me stay informed about current classroom practices, assessment expectations, and exam preparation strategies.
Success in VCE and ATAR Japanese is about more than exam scores alone. I understand the pressures students face in their final years of school, and my goal is to provide practical support, encouragement, and effective study strategies to help them achieve their goals with confidence.
Many of my students continue studying with me for years, and one of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing them grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and genuinely enjoy our lessons together.
